| Abstract:
Objective: To summarize the nursing countermeasures against peripheral intravenous catheter breakage.Method: The factors causing the two cases of peripheral intravenous catheter breakages were analyzed and the flowchart of specific measures against peripheral intravenous catheter breakage was completed.Result: Both patients were prevented from life-threatening risks and were discharged from hospital after completing the therapy.Conclusion: It is very important to take the corresponding countermeasure according to the specific site the catheter was placed. |
