| Abstract: Oral problems are prevalent in hospice patients, posing significant oral health risks and affecting quality of life. Patients and their caregivers should undergo regular oral assessments to raise awareness of oral health and identify potential high-risk factors early on. Medical staff should strengthen their attention to modifiable influencing factors, prevent oral symptoms, and improve adverse outcomes. This article provides an overview of the importance of oral health, assessment tools, influencing factors, and interventions for hospice patients in an effort to inform oral health management for clinicians. |
