| Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a common cardiovascular disorder that seriously threatens human health. Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is the primary surgical treatment for CHD. However, its clinical efficacy is constrained by issues such as extensive trauma, numerous complications, and slow recovery. Nursing quality is a key factor affecting CABG outcomes, but the current evaluation system for intraoperative nursing quality in CABG is imperfect, lacking objective and quantitative assessment tools. Nursing-sensitive quality indicators (NSQIs) provide an objective measure of nursing quality by evaluating three dimensions: structure, process, and outcome. Nevertheless, the application of NSQIs in the field of CABG is still in its infancy. Based on a literature analysis, this article explores the connotation of intraoperative NSQIs for CABG and systematically reviews the key content of NSQIs from three dimensions: structural indicators such as material equipment, human resources, and process standardization; process indicators including vital sign monitoring, complication prevention, equipment and medication management, communication and coordination; and outcome indicators like surgical effectiveness, recovery status, complication incidence, and patient satisfaction. The analysis demonstrates that the scientific construction of intraoperative NSQIs for CABG contributes to the objective evaluation of nursing quality and guides nursing practice. However, the standardization, normalization, and continuous improvement mechanisms still need refinement. Future research should focus on strengthening evidence-based studies and multidisciplinary collaboration to further optimize the clinical application of intraoperative NSQIs for CABG, ultimately improving CABG efficacy and patient prognosis. |
