| In August 2023, the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) issued the first edition of Integrative Oncology Care for Anxiety and Depressive Symptoms in Adult Cancer Patients: The Society for Integrative Oncology - ASCO Guidelines. The Guidelines elaborated the Integrative methods of managing symptoms of anxiety and depression in adults with cancer. This article interprets the recommendations proposed by the Guidelines around overview, recommendations, inconclusiveness and inter-guidelines comparison, aiming to provide evidence-based advice to health care providers and promote to manage the symptoms of anxiety and depression in adults with cancer in a standard way. |
