| To standardize the operation of subglottic suction techniques for artificial airways in clinical practice, the Shanghai Nursing Association issued the group standard Technical Operation Specification for Subglottic Suction of Artificial Airways (T/SHNA 0015 - 2025) in May 2025. This article systematically interprets the standard’s background, development process, core specifications, and clinical implications,, as well as recommendations for its clinical application and promotion. The aim is to assist medical institutions and healthcare professionals in gaining a comprehensive understanding of and effectively, implementing this standard, thereby providing a reference for enhancing the standardization and safety of subglottic suction procedures for artificial airway and improving the quality of artificial airway management. |
