以英国小型独立临终关怀院—圣米歇尔临终关怀院(Saint Michael’s Hospice)为例,介绍英国临终关怀院的高质量死亡、护理优先、支持生者和全民参与等服务理念。提出培育医务人员与民众科学理性死亡观、将临终关怀纳入基本公共卫生服务项目、建立以护理为核心的临终关怀服务模式和探索建立小型独立临终关怀机构等适合中国国情的临终关怀发展道路。

英文摘要:

This study introduces the basic service concepts of the British hospice industry taking Saint Michael’s Hospice, a small and independent local charity, as example. These concepts include high quality of death, care for the first, supporting people alive and participation by all people. Training Chinese medical personnel and people the concept of quality of death is important. Hospice should be the basic public health services in the future China. And caring must be one of the core service models of hospice. Small and independent hospice may be the new direction.
